I'm NFPA and love the professional networking. This should be a great event. Boston's a great location. In June, I once got stuck at a winter conference with 25 inches of snow.

As a volunteer firefighter / officer for 10 years, I attended the conference in order to provide my department and its members with the most up-to-date information on NFPA changes and initiatives. Since leaving the active service, I’ve lost my opportunity to attend with my department, however maintain committed to sharing my knowledge within my community. I welcome the opportunity to actively participate in this years conference to broaden my NFPA education. Thank you.

This is simply "la Mecca" for the Fire Protection & Life Safety Engineer; the place where the brilliant and dedicated people meet to analyze the past, the present and the future of our beloved profession.

As specialist in Data Center Environment and Infrastructure, I am interested to attend the NFPA Seminar and Expo because I am confused about all the misinterpretation of the standards regarding different Fire Fighting Technologies: Sprinkler, Gas , Mist and Hybrid. Every company is pretending to have the best and only solution. I would like to meet with experts and see what is actually the trend in the data center security market. Thanks

As a fire protection system engineer at a nuclear power plant, attending the NFPA conference & EXPO is proving to be a smart decision. I've attended the conference in each of the last three years since becoming the plant's fire protection system engineer. The conference sessions help me better understand the codes and my role in implementing them. Attending the EXPO introduces me to new products and services. The tragic events at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Station, our plant's application for license renewal, and developing long-term strategies to upgrade our aging suppression and detection systems have placed the fire protection program under increased scrutiny. Being an active NFPA member is proving to be an invaluable resource for me and my company.

I am a first time attendee, and I am really excited about the opportunity to learn more about photovoltaics and electric vehicles with relation to the NEC. I am hoping to do more work with these elements, and am seeking to improve my knowledge in anticipation of this work.

Attending the NFPA Conference & Expo is as important to my business as defraging and updating my computer! Plus, there are the many real and intangible benefits of making and renewing my relationships with colleagues and friends in the fire protection industry.

I feel attending the NFPA Conference would benefit me as an electrical instructor/ master electrician to have a better understanding of NFPA and all they offer. I have been a new member for about a month now and I believe in their mission for safety.
I would bring this learning experience back to the classroom and implement it within my curriculum. I would be able to share the experience with new apprentice electricians starting out.

I will be a rookie at the conference but think I can hit one out of Fenway Park with the knowledge I will gain. I have recently gotten into the game of safety compliance. My stance is primarily OSHA but am looking to be a utility player.

I wish to attend the NFPA Conference & Expo for the first time because I am extremely interested in the fire protection industry and wish to work within this industry in the near future. I’m currently a volunteer firefighter and Fire Protection is my major in college. I wish to gain more knowledge in this field and learn from the professionals what the fire protection industry is really like.

Attending the NFPA Conference and Expo would be an excellent educational opportunity. Having the chance to learn from some of the most respected individuals in the field of Fire Protection and Life Safety is one that is too good to pass up. I'm positive that I will gain enough knowledge to make my community a safer place to live. Thank you to NFPA for organizing such a wonderful event!

DOD and US Air Force requires NFPA 13 compliance with any fire suppression system and this training ensures that I have all the up-to-date information that I need to accomplish my duties as a base Mechanical Engineer overseeing the fire suppression systems at LRAFB.

I attend the NFPA Conference to network with peers who share ideas about how best to educate and protect our diverse communities. The education programs and life safety topics discussed are so varied and these programs provide the most current information on latest strategies, technology and publications relevant to every aspect of fire and life safety. Where else can you get all of that for the price? It is the most comprehensive conference I attend.

Good afternoon all, I would like to attend a conference because of our ever changing community needs. To be able to attend a conference and bring back any and all helpful information to my fellow brothers in the EMS/Fire Community would help us all evolve and allow uo to better serve our communities in the state of Texas. We are all eger to learn as much as we can.

The NFPA conference is to me, members from all over coming together to share and make our industry safer for our firefighters and the customers whom we serve. Things have changed over the past 150 plus years and so we have too. Going back to roots of NFPA it was to make things better and improve the fire service by sharing experiences and technology. To me this is what the conferences is about.

I am working as a fire protection consultant in Bangladesh where hundreds of people die and millions of dollar worth assets are damaged every year becuse of fire. For a poor country like Bangladesh, NFPA is the only comprehensive code that provides most of the knowledge and technics for fighting this deadly hazard. Attending a NFPA Conference and Expo will defintely help update the knowledge of codes and standards, current techniques, materials and equipment and strengthen the network in the industry.

NFPA Conference and Expo creating huge impact for those people who has been working in this field and end users.
I meet some company last year and in the mean time made a reasonable amount of business and expecting this year better.
All credit goes to that authority those who are contributing and helping us to create us qualified fire experts through NFPA Conference and Expo year by year.

Growing up in my father's commercial fire sprinkler business in Kentucky and later graduating with an engineering degree from the University of Kentucky helps me appreciate the technology advancements viewed and discussed at the NFPA Conference & Expo. The fire protection industry continues to grow at an exponential rate and I continue to be impressed at the leaps forward in various technology advancements as well as NFPA code advancements.
Working in actual fire testing at Underwriters Laboratories as well as real field experience helps me appreciate more the in depth design, testing, safety analyses, logistics, etc. that go into each and every product.
I am proud to call the fire protection industry, where savings lives is top priority, as my career!!

Dear Gentlemen,
As a fire protection design engineer in one of the leading consulting companies in Egypt, responsible for fire protection design in several projects inside and outside of Egypt, I have to catch up with the latest updates concerning fire protection design.
NFPA is the best source for such updates as it's considered to be the most approved reference in our projects. It would be such a great opportunity & pleasure to attend NFPA's conference & Expo.
Anticipating your favorable response.
Sincerely yours,

Why attend the NFPA Expo? Why NOT!!! It is an awesome opportunity to meet with and learn from other industry professionals. My company has recently undertaken the task of educating the UAE on their adopted NFPA 72 codes and standards. While this is a daunting task, it has been an amazing experience meeting with professionals in another country. I would love to share my experiences and opportunities available in the UAE with rest of the community!

I have never attended a NFPA Conference & Expo. As a bilangual FF/EMT and Pub ED Liaison, it would be a great educational experience as well as bringing new ideas and experience to the community, local schools and my fellow co-workers. I thank you in advance for the opportunity.

The NFPA annual conference is the premier event for fire and building safety professionals. NFPA training has always been top-notch, but it is also a great opportunity to network with colleagues in your respective membership interest groups, get a first-hand glimpse of the code making process, and learn about the state of the art in fire protection products.

I would love to attend for the edjucational aspect most of all. I've been in the fire protection industry for @ 28 yrs and have never hed the opportunity to attend. I think in order to grow in this or any field you must learn & adapt to new styles and practices. I'm a fairly new contractor as well as a seasoned fire sprinkler fitter. So I would like to have the chance to listen and aquire a better understanding of how others meet the demands and deal with the industry as a whole.

The NFPA Annual Conference is the best opportunity for me to stay connected in the Fire Protection and Prevention Arenas. The contacts I have made and maintained via attendance at NFPA events through the years have been paramount in the promotion of my firm.
The Expo provides a sneak peek at the newest technologies allowing my firm to appear on the "cutting edge", when working with and obtaining Clients.

I've recently returned the States after a 15-year absence and have resumed my career as a Loss Control Inspector in the insurance industry. Boy, has everything changed! While I'm getting up to speed on re-learning all the codes, and especially NFPA 96, I'd like to have a look at the current vendors and see what's on the market. Knowing the products and the codes together would bring me up to speed so much faster.

My husband and I have just started a Fire Extinguisher business (CMS Fire Protection). We would love to attend to see the latest information and newest technology to help us grow and expand our business. Plus give us an opportunity to explore the benefits of being NFPA members. Thank you sincerely.

I am a 3rd party Right to Know instructor working from Taunton, Mass. I would like to attend for the 1st time so I can expand my knowledge and be able to be a better teacher and inspector. I train companies on Hazard communication, fire prevention and emergency response as well as conduct third party safety inspections. The expo showcases the newest innovations in safety and I like to stay current with new techniques and technologies. My attendance will be used to further educate and protect workers and families from accidents like the one that occurred recently in Springfield MA at Balise Honda. Thank You.

The reason I am attending the NFPA Conference & Expo is to help protect and safeguard the occupants and owners of my designs from death, injury, or financial losses. As a professional engineer, it is my responsibility to educate myself as much as possible in order to prevent a catastrophe. If I can prevent just one loss, by attending this year’s event, that is the best reason of all to attend.

This year will be the first NFPA conference I will be attending. As an electrical engineer in the power consulting industry, I will learn a tremendous amount of information based on the variety of seminars available. Since I am a part of a large engineering firm, the knowledge I gain can help facilitate the need for inter-office education on specific subject matters across all engineering disciplines.
