  • Report of the Nominating Committee
    Election of officers, members of the Board, and members of the 2014 Nominating Committee will take place at the NFPA Annual Meeting on Monday, June 10 at the Arie Crown Theatre at the McCormick Place Convention Center, Chicago, IL. Read the Report of the Nominating Committee.

    Amendment of the NFPA Bylaws
    Proposed amendments to the NFPA Bylaws have been recommended by the NFPA Board of Directors and will be submitted for a vote of the NFPA Membership in accordance with Section 11.1 of the NFPA Bylaws. Review the proposed amended NFPA Bylaws. A copy may also be obtained by written request via U.S. Mail to Dennis J. Berry, Assistant Secretary, NFPA, 1 Batterymarch Park, Quincy, MA 02169-7471.

Action on NFPA 1917, Standard for Automotive Ambulances

During today's NFPA Association Technical Meeting in Las Vegas, the following action has taken place on NFPA 1917, Standard for Automotive Ambulances. 

  • 1917-1 Motion to Accept Comment 1917-15 failed.
  • 1917-2 Motion to Accept Comment 1917-22 failed.
  • 1917-3 Motion to Accept Comment 1917-23 was not pursued.
  • 1917-4 Motion to Accept Comment 1917-30 was not pursued.
  • 1917-5 Motion to Return Entire Report failed.

NFPA 1917 was passed with no amending motions. NFPA 1917 COMPLETED.
