    Amendment of the NFPA Bylaws
    Proposed amendments to the NFPA Bylaws have been recommended by the NFPA Board of Directors and will be submitted for a vote of the NFPA Membership in accordance with Section 11.1 of the NFPA Bylaws. Review the proposed amended NFPA Bylaws. A copy may also be obtained by written request via U.S. Mail to Dennis J. Berry, Assistant Secretary, NFPA, 1 Batterymarch Park, Quincy, MA 02169-7471.

Action on NFPA 499, Recommended Practice for the Classification of Combustible Dusts and of Hazardous (Classified) Locations for Electrical Installations in Chemical Process Areas

During today's NFPA Association Technical Meeting in Las Vegas, the following action has taken place on NFPA 499, Recommended Practice for the Classification of Combustible Dusts and of Hazardous (Classified) Locations for Electrical Installations in Chemical Process Areas  

  • 499-1 Motion to Accept an Identifiable Part of Comment 499-6 passed.

NFPA 499 was passed with one amending motions. NFPA 499 COMPLETED.
