During the NFPA Conference & Expo, FDNY Deputy Chief Jay Jonas was interviewed by Denise Valdez from Channel 8 News Las Vegas (KLAS) and shared with her the reasons why he continues to speak about the events of 9/11 and his experience.
"As time goes on people do forget about the events of that day and it was a dramatic event in our history... I can't complain about people not remembering the day if I'm not willing to talk about it," says Jonas. His message to firefighters, especially those in densley populated areas, is to be vigilant about their training and preparedness.
