Every other month, NFPA Journal® goes out to thousands of NFPA members including fire service and health professionals, public officials, safety organizations and members of the general public. We’re excited that this month’s cover story, called "Taking Charge”, that takes an in-depth look at our Electric Vehicle Safety Training program. The article examines many of the safety specifications that will be outlined in our training curriculum and offers insight from one of our subject matter experts and safety trainers, Jason Emery.
In addition to the story, NFPA members can learn more about NFPA and electric vehicles with our "NFPA Journal LIVE Online" presentation on January 26. In this member-exclusive presentation, I'll be leading the discussion, along with my colleague Ken Willette, NFPA's division manager for Public Fire Protection , on “Charging Up: Five Ways NFPA is Preparing to Meet the EV Boom.” NFPA members can learn more and register; if you're not a member, now's a great time to join!
