Wildfire safety practices in the field

In a series of visits to U.S. states, I've come across lots of great examples of how people are applying Firewise principles - wildfire safety preparation techniques - to individual home lots, commonly owned areas, and roadways. Here's a short video from eastern Alabama demonstrating a fire break created in a small community that has additional benefits.
