TC on Emergency Medical Services Protective Clothing and Equipment is Seeking New Members

The Technical Committee on Emergency Services Protective Clothing and Equipment is seeking new members. This TC, which revises NFPA 1999, Standard on Protective Clothing for Emergency Medical Operations, currently has openings in the enforcer, user, manufacturer, installer-maintainer, labor and research and testing categories.

This TC has responsibility for documents on protective clothing and protective equipment (other than respiratory equipment), that provides hand, torso, limb, and face protection for fire fighters or other emergency services responders during incidents that involve emergency medical operations. These operations include first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, basic life support, advanced life support, and other medical procedures provided to patients prior to arrival at a hospital or other health care facility.
