International City/County Management Association features sprinkler debate in monthly magazine

Appropo to their mission of "providing well-researched, accurate, and comprehensive material written by leading practitioners and academicians in their field", the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) recently published an article in their monthy magazine regarding the debate over fire sprinklers. 

Citing results from two NFPA research reports -the Cost Assessment report and Incentives for the Use of Residential Fire Sprinkler Systems in U.S. Communities - the article includes the history of sprinklers, the myths about residential sprinklers, and the truth about the cost to have them installed.
