Fire Alarm New Jersey

Great story! While we don't recommend swapping your fire alarms for dogs, it's still nice to know that everyone made it out safely.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know whether they had a smoke detector in the basement? Fire alarms should be placed on every floor so they can quickly detect fires no matter where they crop up. You should probably have a couple fire extinguishers on hand too just to be safe.

That said, dogs are way cuter :)
