Apply today for the Warren E. Isman Education Grant, which will provide a $5,000 award for one hazardous materials response team to register for specialized training at a national hazardous materials conference.

Any established hazardous materials incident response team from a fire department, police department or other public-funded program may apply. Preference will be given to teams which demonstrate:

Leadership qualities
Communication abilities
Training to the levels outlined in NFPA 472, Professional Competence of Responders to Hazardous Materials Incidents, and NFPA 473, Competencies for EMS Personnel Responding to Hazardous Materials Incidents
